Meet Our Dental Team
Our talented team provides quality, personalized dentistry in Plano, Texas.
I built My Dentist in Plano to include a carefully chosen team of individuals that know the importance of working together in a way that compliments my individualized approach to providing quality dentistry.
With over 20 years of experience in the dental field, I’ve done close to every job there is. I started my career as a dental assistant and through hard work, moved up to management.
I’ve been trained by dental consulting firms to manage and implement systems and protocols.
In my spare time I like to spend time with my family and friends. I have a brand new puppy named Rebel that my family and I rescued.
My favorite part of my job is all the relationships I get to make.
SusieRegistered Dental Hygienist
Hello, I’m Susie, I graduated from Tyler Jr. College with an Associate Degree in Applied Science in Dental Hygiene, and have been a dental hygienist for over 30 years.
I’m happily married to my husband of 24 years and have two absolutely beautiful daughters. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family, baking, gardening, traveling and walking my rescued dog named Freckles.
My favorite part about being a Dental Hygienist is getting to meet all the new patients that come through the door.
ChristinaRegistered Dental Assistant
Christina grew up in Arlington, TX and graduated from Texas Christian University. She has been in the dental field for over 6 years and loves building personal relationships with patients while providing exceptional, comfortable care.
Christina’s passion comes from her own wonderful dental experiences that she’s had, and the realization of what a difference a healthy, beautiful smile can make. She works hard to make each patient’s visit positive and enjoyable while educating and making recommendations so that they can achieve optimal oral health.
When she is not in the dental office, Christina enjoys spending time with her Pomeranian, Coco. She is also an avid reader and likes to cook in her free time.
Although Marie is a native Texan she has lived in various stated during the 22 years that her father served his country in the United States Military. Marie graduated from Plano Senior High School and Richland Junior College. Marie is married to a wonderful man, James, and they have 4 grown children and 6 beautiful grandchildren.
Before joining Dr Dickson’s team, Marie worked in the banking industry gaining and perfecting her bookkeeping skills. Her work in a pediatric office afforded her the opportunity to dive into her wonderful nurturing side while also keeping up her accounting/bookkeeping skills. Marie is a valued asset to our team.
In her spare time Marie loves spending time with her growing family, camping, and cooking, sewing, and researching genealogy. She is a current member of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
TerryRegistered Dental Hygienist
A Louisiana girl at heart, Terry relocated to Dallas, Texas over 8 years ago to obtain her Associates Degree in Applied Science in Dental Hygiene at Concorde College of Dallas. With that and her past experiences in dental assisting, Terry has developed a passion for helping others in achieving and maintaining optimal oral hygiene. The best part of being a hygienist for Terry is being able to meet each patient and getting to know them on a personal level, which offers a unique experience at every visit.
In her spare time, Terry can be found with her two adorable sons and wonderful husband. They enjoy eating at new restaurants, watching movies, and traveling. However, for her own escape, she enjoys reading, cooking, and exercising.
Kelly joined the team in 2017. She is re-entering the dental field after some time caring for her son and persuing other interests. She has a bright, cheerful personality that is an asset to the team.
Kelly and her family moved to Plano last year from Fort Smith, Arkansas. She loves spending time with her family and her new found friends when she is not at work. Kelly is a die-hard baseball fan and loves to go see the Rangers and her other favorite teams in action.
My Dentist in Plano hosted the second annual Helping Hearts event on Saturday, April 7th 2018.
